If you are not familiar with LinkedIn or you don’t know how or why to use it, then this is the post for you. LinkedIn in is the Facebook for business and business people. LinkedIn allows you to connect with your work friends, old colleagues and you can see where they work and where they have been.
LinkedIn is your online Resume or C.V which showcases your abilities and recommendations.

You can connect with your old uni friends and find out where they have worked and where they are now. This can be a great tool if you are a sales person and want to approach a company but don’t know where to start. You would be surprised how many people are connected, currently 20 million people are on LinkedIn and one person signs up every second, and how many people know each other.
By adding connections, you increase the likelihood that people will see your profile first when they’re searching for someone to hire or do business with. In addition to appearing at the top of search results (which is a major plus if you’re one of the 52,000 product managers on LinkedIn), people would much rather work with people who their friends know and trust.

Critical Analysis of Facebook
In today’s world people rarely use “old school” methods of communication such as writing letters. We now mainly use e-mail and social networks to get in touch with the people we want to talk to. A main network now a days is facebook. Facebook is a place for people to share what’s going on in their lives and also learn more about their friend’s lives.
A major advantage to the facebook thing is the whole social aspect of it. Facebook lets you connect with your friends and though that you meet your friend’s friends and the list goes on and on. One of the only bad things that come out of this aspect of facebook could be the fact that you could come into contact with people you don’t want to see or hear from, for what ever reason you have to justify that.
Facebook is also a great spot to share personal news and also real new like fox news. Since so many millions of people use this network someone is bound to see it and then share it with their friends and after a while thousands of people will see it. They can post it on their walls and all there friend will be able to see it. A negative thing that could come out of this is that is you don’t want something being shared so widely it might happen cause of the popular use of facebook.
Another great thing about face book is that if you own or operate a business you can use facebook as a great tool to get your ideas around. You can create a private group with just you and your employees, and use it to get your ideas around the office and not make it open to the public because it’s contained within the group.

In today’s world there so many way of communication. One of the newer social networks is known as twitter. Put simply, Twitter is social messaging. With the ability to follow people and have followers, and the ability to have interact with Twitter on your cell phone, Twitter has become the perfect social messaging tool. Whether you are out on the town and want to coordinate with a group of people as to what hot spot to hit next, or keeping people informed of developments at a company-sponsored event, Twitter is a great tool for quickly communicating a message to a group of people.
Twitter has become a favorite target for social media marketing. This new form of getting the message out has been used effectively by Barak Obama during his Presidential campaign, and is used by everyone from magazines to movie stars as a quick way to connect with an audience. With utilities like Twitterfeed, it is easy to convert an RSS feed into Twitter updates. This makes it easy to use Twitter as a form of social media marketing
Turn on CNN, Fox News or any other news-reporting service and you'll likely see a news ticker streaming across the bottom of the television set. In a digital world that is relying on the Internet more and more for news, that streaming ticker is twitter

Critical Analysis of Blogs
Blogs are spots on the internet that allow people to be able to express there own personal interests in whatever they want to do. Blogs are basically on online form of your own personal newspaper. Anyone could use a blog as long as you know how to operate a simple computer web design.
A blog can be a huge help so the business field. They can really help get things organized for projects that the company wants to carry out. They can also be a good spot for workers to just get their own work in order so show their boss. But some bad things that could come from this could be an exposer of work or topics that the company didn’t want anyone seeing.
Another great way for blogs to be used is for personal and/or social needs. Online blogs such as facebook or twitter are a great way for people to get to know each other, or even reconnect after years of not talking. But a bad thing that comes out this and DOES come out of this is cyber bullying. Which leds to serious problems.
Blogs can also be a spot for entertainment purposes. Weather it could be you just posting funny things, or maybe posting funny things that you found from the media.
Blogs can also be used a personal or business type newspaper. You could use it to post what’s going on in your community or even around the world. And since its your blog you can add you own opinion to it too!
